Slacking

I know I did not hold up to my last comment on Monday. I said I would be back Tuesday with a weekend update, but I never made it. I have been a little busy this week and I am a little tired. I am really having problems with my sleep this week. The problem is I am not getting enough. I have got up early everyday this week. Not coffee shop early, but early for me. This makes it really hard for me to blog at night because I am just too tired. I do love y'all, but not enough to miss sleep.

You know what happens when I am tired? It means I can only make a list.

1. We did have a wonderful weekend. We went to the lake on Saturday with lots of friends and it was great. It was cloudy and had rained most of the morning, but it never rained on us while we were at the lake. It was fun to hang out with our friends and all the kids one last time before school started.

2. It has been a busy week. I let the house go the past few weeks during the Olympics. When I was home I wouldn't do much picking up and cleaning up because I had something better to do like watch the Olympics. This week has been catch up. I have done a lot that I did not want to do. I have cleaned out the garage, cleaned the porch, cleaned out Jaime's closet, changed out my shoes in my closet from summer to fall and many other things that are not fun.

3. This weekend is going to be awsome! College football starts today and continues on through the weekend. There is nothing better than the start of college football. Don't worry I will have a lot to blog about this subject. It is one of my favorites.

4. Jaime and I are headed to Lubbock this weekend to see my family. I am so excited, I can't stop jumping around from excitement. I haven't seen my family in 3 months. That is a very long time for me since I usually see them once a month. It has been way too long and I can't wait. I leave tomorrow morning and Jaime will come after work tomorrow. We will be there until Monday. It will be a busy weekend. I am picking up Caroline from school on Friday, getting my haircut Saturday morning, massage Saturday afternoon and going to the Tech football game Saturday night. We will go to church Sunday and celebrate my birthday with dinner on Sunday night. It will be so great.

I think that is about it. Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Labor Day weekend. I will be back Monday with lots of pictures and stories. I know you can hardly wait.

This One's For The Kids

This is a big week. Are you ready? Tomorrow starts the beginning of school for so many.

Caroline, my niece, starts Pre-K tomorrow. She is going to do wonderful and will love it. She will make new friends in no time at all. The first week maybe a little difficult being away from the place and people she knows so well, but she will excel so quickly. She will also teach her teacher a few things in the first week. She will show her teacher that she loves to talk and that she is a leader. These are great qualities. Caroline is a girl after my own heart. Hopefully she will not end up in the hall like I did for talking to much. If she does, she will get over it soon and not really let it slow her down. I didn't.

Conner, my neighbor, starts Kindergarten tomorrow. He is totally excited and already knows so many in his class. He will do awesome and as always will tell me he doesn't know what he did at school. I don't think it will be different from daycare to kindergarten.

Most of all I am concerned for these two mothers. For one it is her first child going off to pre-k and for the other it is her baby going off to kindergarten. I know there will be lots of tears tomorrow, which is completely understandable. I will probably shed a few myself. Both mothers and children will do great with the new situation. Everyone will adapt well and be so successful. You are all in my prayers! Good Luck with the First Day of School. Love you all!

I will be back tomorrow with the weekend wrap up.

Wasted Day

Yesterday was a really fun day!!! I waited for Sears repair most of the day.

My dryer has been acting up for a few months now and I have been putting off the repair. Sears repair service is really a pain to deal with. My dryer will stop mid cycle and then won't turn back on for 20 minutes or so. I know the thing was over heating, I just wish I knew how to fix the problem.

I finally called Sunday night to make an appointment. I hardly got 2 loads of laundry done on Sunday because it was being so difficult. Once I finally reached a real live person on the phone they told me my option was Wednesday from 8am to 5pm. Well, isn't that convenient. I don't have a job so it is not such a big deal for me, but what about people that do work. Sears really expects for a person to take a whole day off work to wait for them. Crazy!

The dryer repair man showed up at 1:30 which wasn't too bad. Of course the dryer would never stop working while he was here. He said he thought the motor was going out by what I was describing to him. How much is that? The good news is on Sunday we made the right decision. We were given the option of paying $70 for the service call plus parts and labor or for the low price of $149.99 we could purchase the one year extended warranty that would cover the repairs up to $500. The new motor was $349.99. Isn't that perfect?

The only problem with all this was I missed workout. I moved workout to 3pm, but the nice Sears man did not get done until 3:30. The rest of the week is so busy that I don't have time to make it up. I complain a lot about working out, but I really do enjoy it and it makes me sad when I miss. I know most of you are thinking that is odd. I think it is too. Please don't tell my trainer I actually enjoy working out. He doesn't know and he can't find out. I enjoy complaining to him too much.

Sweet Caroline

We all know that I do not have kids. I love kids especially Caroline and John. They are like my niece and nephew because Ann is like my sister. It only makes sense. I love these kids so much and hate being so far away from them. They are both growing up so fast and I am ready for them to slow down.

Caroline is about to leave daycare and move onto school. This can't be happening. There is no way she is old enough to be moving on. I know she will do great and love school. She is Ann's child, of course she will love school.

The past few days I have been thinking about her a lot! I think about her leaving daycare and going to school and how she will adjust. I can't help but think of all my times at daycare. Caroline goes to the same daycare that Ann, Doneece and I all went to. We were all there until 1st grade when we moved onto elementary. Daycare brings back so many memories when I am in Lubbock and go pick Caroline and John up. Thank goodness those walls can't talk. I know my parents wouldn't be surprised, but there are somethings they don't need to know.

My parents know plenty about my days at daycare. I didn't get away with much there. I remember one day in the summer probably when I was 5 or 6 in particular. I think we were having a play day or maybe I am making that up. Anyways, as usual Dad dropped me off and Grandma would pick me up. When Dad dropped me off that day I took the shoelaces out of my tennis shoes. It was the new trend at the time and I was trendy even at a young age. I was not suppose to be taking the shoelaces out of my shoes. It made my dad mad at me. I have no idea why I was not suppose to take them out and still don't to this day. I figured I was good and would just put the laces back in before Grandma came to pick me up.

Didn't really work out for me. We were outside playing on the play ground and who shows up? That would be my dad. Of course he noticed and I got in trouble. Seriously, they are just shoelaces. No big deal, but not to him. I was so excited he came to see me in the middle of the day and then he just ended up being mad at me. Didn't work out so well. I also remember I was wearing pigtail's that day and my head got sunburned where the part was. Random, I know.

I just wonder what Caroline will remember from daycare. It will be no time at all before she is grown up and I can ask her. That is unless I can talk her into staying 4 forever.

The Foundry

Well, The Foundry has now been open for a month. It is like marriage, some days it feels like a month and other days it feels like just yesterday. Overall it has been really good and a great learning experience.

Like any business we have our good days and bad days. Last Monday we were super busy and I never sat down. This morning it has been slow and I have spent most of the morning on the computer. I have really enjoyed being able to talk with the customers and getting some stuff done this morning while watching it rain outside. You just never know what to expect.

We have some regular customers. We don't really have a regular that comes in every morning, but hopefully soon someone will find us and won't be able to live without us every morning. We have some amazing people that do come in and everyone has been very welcoming. You never know what the reaction will be when you tell someone that you are owned by a church. Everyone has been wonderful about it and more receptive to it once they know. I think the coolest thing so far is one of our new volunteers. He had a stroke back in July and lost his short term memory. Before that he was in a severe depression and did not leave the house. He had been praying for something to come along. It happened! He comes in everyday at 10am to volunteer. He helps us keep the place clean and the dishes washed. He is amazing. It is so wonderful how it all worked out. He can come in and help us out and we give him a place to go to get out of the house. God is truly amazing!!!

This place has taught me some wonderful things. Most of all it has showed me how much my husband really loves me. I knew he did, but it just reaffirmed me how much. I have become a little bit more patient. Not a lot, but a little and that is all that I could ask for. I have one volunteer that really test my patients and in a way I appreciate that. I have grown because of him. I know I could be more patient and I think he is helping me with that. I have also learned things about the business. I am better now about knowing what we need and when I need to order things.

I really do love this place and all that it has done for me. I know God is working on me through this place and I couldn't be happier. I just hope I am doing as much for this place and God's work as it is doing for me.

Come see us and have some coffee sometime if you are around.

Meet Me in St. Louis

Jaime and I usually take a really cool vacation somewhere in the summer. This summer things have been a little crazy with Jaime's work and the coffee shop for me. So many people have been asking about our big trip. This year we weren't able to take a big trip, but we did get a way for a couple of days. So this is old news, but fun news.

Jaime and I went to St. Louis for July 4th. Since it was a long weekend we wanted to get away for some rest and relaxation. The criteria for the trip had to be somewhere Southwest flew, there had to be a baseball game and it had to be somewhere simi close. St. Louis was the winner mostly because it was close and the Cardinals were playing my Cubbies. It doesn't get much better than that.

We got to see lots of neat things in St. Louis. The first was this Fourth of July parade. It blocked every possible route to the arch. We had tickets at 11:00 am that were not refundable. We finally just joined in the parade for a moment and walked across the street.

We finally did make it to the St. Louis Arch. They took our tickets even though we were late; they were not that busy on the 4th. It was really neat at the top of the arch, but not for very long. It was a little crowded up there and I do not like crowded. We couldn't have been up there longer than 3 minutes.

Later that afternoon was bliss. We went to the baseball game and were there when the gates opened. We got to see the Cubs take batting practice. It was wonderful. The Cardinals have a really nice stadium. This is typical. That phone is attached to Jaime's ear.

All you really need to know about the game is that the Cubs won and we saw fireworks. It was the perfect Fourth of July!

The next day we went and took a tour of Anheuser Bush Brewery. It was very interesting how the beer is made. At the end of the tour there is a taste test. We were not able to partake in the tasting because we had to get to the game. We were going to miss batting practice if we didn't hurry.

This is what I saw when we got to the game. Batting practice was over and I was mad. It took me a little while to get over it, but I did. The game was great. It was really hot, but the Cubs were winning so it seemed like everything was right in the world. That is until Kerry Wood came in to pitch in the bottom of the 9th.

This is all you really need to know; Kerry Wood came in and blew a 2 run lead and we lost. It was not cool!

Overall it was a great trip even if the Cubs lost one game. It was nice to get away with my husband for a few days. I love visiting new cities with wonderful baseball. I can't wait till our next trip. Hopefully it is to New York to see Yankee Stadium. Keep your fingers crossed.

Car Wash

I went to HEB yesterday which is our local grocery store. I hadn't been in forever so needless to say we were out of everything. This is really nothing new. The only thing interesting about the day was that it was raining. This is really weird because we don't remember what rain is around here.

I was prepared for the trip and the rain. I had my trusty green grocery sacks, my umbrella and even a rain jacket. The rain jacket comes in handy because who can really push a shopping cart and unload groceries all while holding an umbrella. I got an excellent parking spot, it is probably the best spot I have ever gotten at HEB. My luck was great! I grabbed all of my stuff from the car and made my way inside.

Nothing too interesting in HEB. Same old, same old. Got all my stuff and got out of there pretty quick. I could see my car as I was walking out of HEB. Usually I can't see my car and can hardly even remember where I parked. This time I could see my car and see I had no windows. Oh NO! Something happened to my car and my front and back windows are gone. I could only think about standing in the rain and trying to figure out what happened to my windows.

As I got to my car I noticed that my windows were only rolled down. Better, but not great. The inside of my car was pretty wet. I of course rolled all the windows up before I started putting the groceries in the car. My car has this really cool function where if you push the buttons on the remote in a certain order it will roll down all the windows. Only problem, I don't know what the order of those buttons is. I must have pushed the right order when locking my car and of course I didn't turn back to make sure all the windows were up before I went in.

Good news is my car got a little bath on the inside and now it just needs one on the outside.

Reporting or Bust

Jaime is always looking for something new to invest in. He is picky about his investments, but always has his eyes open for something new. He never wants to invest in my purse obsession. We will discuss that at a later time.

Jaime's newest investment is in a local high school sports magazine. This magazine has been a dream of Jaime's Uncle Chuck for a long time and Jaime decided to help out along with a few other people. Chuck and his business partner have been working really hard the past few months getting the magazine ready to go, as the first issue will hit the stands in September. They have been getting articles, pictures and advertisements ready. The September issue goes to print on Friday.

I got a call from Uncle Chuck on Monday wanting to know if I would write two articles for them, of course for free. What is family for besides free labor? Now, I know I have a journalism degree, not that you could tell that from my punctuation or grammar here. The only reason I got a journalism degree was because it required the least amount of math and science compared to any other degree. Math and science don't really understand me so they never did well with me.

While in college I did write for the school newspaper. I don't really remember how I got involved in that, but I remember it was not by choice. Maybe it was a requirement of some sort. I reported on basketball, which was the good news. If I had to write about something at least it was a sport.

Here I am again writing an article, but this time for a magazine. At least it is for another sport, football. My articles are due by Friday and I have done nothing but complain to get ready. I need to do some research on these two football programs. Not only do I currently not know anything about the football programs, I have never even heard of the two schools. That's nice!

It has been 5 years since I wrote an article for any type of publication. I am a little worried, actually more than worried. Hopefully it is like riding a bike and it will all come back to me. The good news is my picture and name will be in the magazine. Ugh, not really!!!

Sunday Night

On Sunday nights I try to be in bed by 9:30. I have to get up at 4:30am on Monday to go to the coffee shop so if I am not in bed by 9:30, Monday morning is not fun.

I did really good on Sunday. I was in bed by 9:30, but once I was in bed I couldn't get comfortable. We had the T.V. on, but I really wasn't watching it. After laying in bed for an hour I decided it was pointless. I obviously was not tired, but of course Jaime was snoring next to me. The Olympics were on and swimming was up next. I figured I might as well put my glasses back on and watch. I didn't have anything else better to do, like sleep.

A woman's race was first and all I really remember was there was drama. Something about two of the swimmers dating the same guy. It's not only the Olympics, but a soap opera as well. Anyway, the boys were up next. Oh how I love the boys. The French had been talking smack and were favored to win the gold. If the Americans did not win the race than Michael Phelps would not get his 8 gold medals.

With all the drama I was enthralled and for good reason. I am not going to go into all the details of the race. If you missed it, you need to watch it. It is being called the best relay race of all time and I agree. Spoiler alert, the USA won the gold. It was amazing. I thought I was doing good about being quite. I didn't say anything. I was just jumping up and down and using my golf clap. Maybe not, Jaime woke up. "What's going on?" I told him he must put his glasses on and watch this. We rewound the T.V. so he could see the whole thing. He too was amazed.

So after all the excitement and us re-watching the race a few times it was 11:30. Way past my bed time. I figured it would be okay and I could make it through the day at the coffee shop. That was until the smoke detector started beeping at 11:50 because the battery was low. It woke me from a perfectly good sleep, but not my husband. I woke him up and it beeped just as I did. I told him to fix it.

I don't want you to think I am not capable of changing the battery in the smoke detector. I would if I could. We have 10 foot ceilings in our bedroom. Even if I get the ladder and stand on the top step I can't reach it, I have tried. When I asked him to fix it he just looked at me and rolled over. I was so mad, I just got up and moved to the other bedroom.

I could still hear it in the other bedroom, but not as bad. I of course sleep really bad in the other bed. I think I woke up every 30 minutes to beeping. Finally at 3:50 Jaime comes to the bedroom and ask me why I moved. I inform him it is because of the stupid smoke detector. He tells me I should have asked him to fix it and he would of. I inform him I did at 11:50 and he wouldn't. It only took 4 hours for the beeping to wake him up. It beeps about every 30 seconds. I had plenty of time to count while trying to get back to sleep.

Lesson 1, Jaime can sleep through 4 hours of a smoke detector beeping. Lesson 2, change your batteries in your smoke detectors before you go to bed tonight.

The One and Only Birds Nest!

Wait!!! Don't go. It is still me, just a new and improved nest. Here at the nest we did a little remodeling over the weekend. Actually, there was no we involved. It was all Traci. She is so amazing and I love what she did. She was so easy and fun to work with. If you need a blog decorator you should definitely use her. Her prices were extremely reasonable, especially since I have no idea how to do anything on here but post. Good thing Traci came along. You can reach Traci at her blog www.sweetcheekydesigns.blogspot.com I love everything about the new blog.

I would also like everyone to know that I have contacted China and the Olympic committee about the use of "Birds Nest." I was shocked to hear on Friday when the announcers started calling the stadium for the opening ceremonies the "Birds Nest." They must not have gotten the message that "Birds Nest" is mine. I would also like to mention that my Birds Nest is much cuter than theirs. I know they have fireworks and they are a little bigger, but here at this nest we are working on all that.

The Olympics have been really good so far. We watched a lot over the weekend and will continue to watch for the next few weeks. It is not like we really have a choice, there isn't much else on right now. Besides, you really can't beat the Olympics when you are a sports nut like me. I am protesting and will not be watching any Olympic competition that occurs at the "Birds Nest." I will protest until the copyright and trademark issues are all worked out. Anybody know a good attorney?

The Time Has Come

The time has come. I've got nothing. I have nothing to blog about. I knew it would happen and I was pretty sure it would happen quick. Jaime and I lead pretty boring lives, which I am good with. Don't worry, I have told Jaime he is going to have to be more interesting. I am sure he is working on it for my blogs sake. I will be back Monday with something grand, just don't hold your breath. Have a great weekend!

Rough Day

Yesterday was a rough day. As most of you know my grandma has Alzheimer's disease. Yesterday was not one of her good days. She is having a difficult time letting her freedom go, which is understandable. She has been a very independent woman for more than 65 years and now it has been taken away from her. Her mind can no longer handle the things she did for so many years.

Grandma cooked dinner almost every night growing up. She cooked dinner for 9 of us every week night. It was a part of my life until the day I moved away. She is no longer able to cook dinner for everyone. She just can't remember how to get it all done. Grandma no longer drives. It was a family decision that she would be much safer not driving and we also would not have to worry about her not being able to find her way home. Grandma hates this. She hates other people taking her places and her not be able to go where she wants when she wants. I know it has to be hard because I can't even imagine not being able to get in my car and go.

Grandma has also lost her sense of reason. You can try all you want, but she cannot reason anymore. She just doesn't get it and she will argue till the end. Yesterday was one of those days. She had it in her head she was going to walk to a close by shopping center to do some shopping and get her jewelery cleaned. The shopping center is close, but on a very busy road. There is no way of knowing if she would be able to make it there and back without getting lost or run over.

She informed my grandpa of her plans and he told her he would just stay home and take her where ever she wanted to go. This caused a huge fight. Unfortunatly for my grandpa he takes most of the heat. She is usually mad at him for something. He ended up going on to the office and letting my mom know once he got there. Mom called Doneece to go up to grandma's and grandpa's to check on grandma.

Doneece was not ready for what she was about to deal with and I wish she would have never had to see grandma that way. Grandma was very mad that Doneece was there and made it clear that she did not want Doneece there. She keep calling Doneece Ann, I don't think she got it right once. Grandma can be very mean and she was. Grandma thinks we do not trust her, love her or care for her any longer. She thinks Caroline, who is 4, has more freedom than she does. Believe me, we would not let Caroline walk to the shopping center either, but of course you can't tell grandma this.

Doneece suffered a few hours with a very mad grandma and made it until my mom could get there. Mom got there and it was probably worse. Mom is the other person feels the brunt of her anger. She was mad most of the day, but my patient mother spent the day with her to make sure she stayed safe. They did go to the grocery store and work on some baby quilts. One thing grandma can still do is sew baby quilts. She is not as good as she use to be, but she can do it with some help. Ann went by and picked grandma up and took her to dinner at Aunt Anita's and Uncle Darrel's. Grandma got to see the kids which helps, but it was still a tough day for her.

I know yesterday was a hard day for all of my family. I especially hate it for Doneece. The first time you see her like that is the worse. I wish I was in Lubbock so I could rush over and take care of grandma. It would be so nice if I was there to take care of her and everyone could continue on with what they need to do. I just feel so bad that everyone else takes out time to take care of grandma and I can't do much from here.

I am not sure what we are going to do about grandma and her anger. She goes back to the doctor in November, which will just make her mad. She hates going to the doctor and does not cooperate while there. Hopefully something will change soon. Please just keep us in your prayers.

Coffee for Two

This is for my husband. He will never know because he never reads my blog, but I want the rest of the world to know that I have a wonderful husband. I am so lucky!

We all know I am not a morning person, but Jaime really doesn't care about getting up in the morning. Of course he likes to sleep in, but it isn't required. Since the coffee shop has opened he has been getting up at 4:30am with me on Mondays and Thursdays. We leave the house at 5:30 and he meets me at The Foundry and makes sure I get in okay. He usually takes a little nap, fills the ice bin for me and patiently waits for me to get the coffee ready so he can have some. He is usually there until around 8:00 or 8:30 and then he goes on to work. His office is only about 2 miles from the coffee shop so it works out nicely.

It usually isn't that busy when we open at 7:00 so we have some time to hang out together. It has become my favorite time with him. It is quite and peaceful. We usually don't even talk, just sit on the couch together and enjoy the coffee and company. I am so lucky to have him in my life. I know that I could not get up that early to go sit with him at work, that is probably why he has never asked me.

I am sure there are mornings he would like to get a little more sleep, but he never says anything. It means so much to me that he goes with me. It is simple, but I love it. He is more than I could have ever asked for and I appreciate him more since we have been sharing early mornings together. I think God knew what he was doing.

Look Who We Found

After we left the hospital on Sunday and were headed home, we decided it was dinner time. We were in a hurry to get home because Monday was my day at The Foundry. That meant I needed to be up by 4:30am so I needed to be in bed by 9:30pm. We decided Whataburger would be quick and easy.

When we got there Scott, Aliah, Paige and Megan were waiting for us. Aren't they the sweetest? I called to tell them we only had about 30 minutes for dinner, but would love to spend those 30 minutes with them. They are the best and were waiting for us at Whataburger on the way out of town.

It was a wonderful 30 minutes. It seems as though Paige has grown about 10 inches. I can't believe she is so tall and that she will be 5 soon. She is growing up way to fast. Jaime left the table for a minute to go to the bathroom and Paige did not like it. She wanted all his attention for the 30 minutes we were there and him going to the bathroom was cutting into her time. She thinks he hung the moon and I agree.

Megan is a mess and the cutest mess I have ever seen. She likes it her way. We can't wait for them to come see us later this month. It has been way too long since we have spent a weekend together.

Thanks for bringing the family and meeting us for dinner. We really enjoyed it and can't wait till next time!

Announcing the Arrival of...

Here at the Nest we would like to announce the arrival of a nephew. Grason Wayne was born Saturday, August 2 at 10:29pm. He weighed in at 7lbs 2oz and 21 inches long. He is precious!

It was a very long day for all of us, but mostly for Kendra. The woman did it all without an epidural. She is truly amazing! Derrick and Kendra got to the hospital at 6am along with Jaime's parents, grandparents and 2 of my mother-in-law's best friends. Jaime's family is like my family. We never go alone. Can you imagine what our hospital waiting room will look like (and no there are no announcements to be made.) They started Kendra on meds around 7am and we all waited. Jaime and I got to the hospital around 11am. The women visited for awhile and played cards while Jaime was on the computer the entire day. I did sneak away for an hour to get a manicure. I needed my nails to look good for my new nephew.

Kendra and Grason are doing well. Grason is so cute and I really got to love on him. I am very fortunate to have a loving and understanding family. They knew Jaime and I would be leaving Sunday afternoon to go home so they let us hog Grason most of the day. It was wonderful. We both reluctantly left the hospital for the drive home. Grason loves to be held close to your chest and hates when you uncover him. I did uncover him for a little bit and he has the longest feet. He will be able to wear Jaime's shoes in no time at all. Grason also has the longest arms I have ever seen. Derrick, Kendra and Grason should be able to go home sometime today.

Speaking of Today, it is my father-in-laws birthday. Happy Birthday Popsi. Popsi is a wonderful father to both Jaime and Derrick. He is going to be an amazing grandfather to Grason. We are all so lucky to have him in our lives. We will be heading back to Corpus soon for the birthday party and to see Grason.

Get ready, here come the pictures.

Road Trip

It is official! Jaime and I will be taking a road trip to meet our new niece or nephew. We are headed to Corpus on Saturday because Jaime's brother and sister-in-law are going to be induced. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of this baby, most of all so we can find out if it is a boy or girl. I am not a patient person so this waiting nine months to find out if it is a boy or girl is driving me crazy.

The worst part of not knowing if it is a boy or girl is I have not been able to buy any gender specific clothes, blankets, shoes or diaper bags. Don't worry, there is a Khol's right next to the hospital so when the baby is born you know where I will be headed. I have bought a few things that were yellow and green. When I showed Jaime the clothes he asked "How did you know what kind of clothes to buy?" This totally threw me for a loop. I didn't know if he meant size or summer clothes as opposed to winter clothes or brand. I of course asked what he meant by "kind of clothes." He said I didn't know if it was a boy or girl so how did I know what to buy. The boy has a lot to learn, but I am working on it. It was really cute because he was totally confused!

We are so happy for Derrick and Kendra. They are going to be such wonderful parents to this child. We can't wait to meet the new baby and love and spoil him or her to no end. Check back for pictures, but most of all to find out if it is a boy or a girl.
