Down and Out

Not only is this pretty lady a friend from high school, she is also my dentist. Beth is puttin' me under (or something close to it) this morning to take out a tooth for me. I have a tooth that has a root fracture and it has to come out. You may wonder how you get a root fracture and it is from eating lots of wonderful stuff. Actually, I have no idea, but that sounded really good.

Beth says it is no big deal, but I will be out for a few days. No worries, I will be back and ready for Thanksgiving meals. I plan on losing a few pounds while recovering from the tooth and then gaining them all back at Thanksgiving.

Sloan and Her Parents

I was so excited when Beth asked me to take some more pictures of Sloan. I love Sloan. She is so sweet and always in a great mood. This time Beth and Erick decided to join Sloan in some of the pictures. They are such a cute family.

Beth asked if I would mind going to her uncle's ranch in Marble Falls. I love new places and I love ranches. We got there on Friday and the property took my breath away. You will see why. Everything was so green and there was a stream running through the property. Amazing!!! The Lord gave us a beautiful piece of property and a beautiful day to work with. Days like Friday remind me how lucky I am.

Thanks Beth, Erick and Sloan for letting me tag along and take pictures of your sweet family. I had a great time and really love the pictures we got!

Northbound I-35

I am headed to Austin today to see Annie. So excited that we get a day to hang out just me and her. I love the kids, but sometimes it is nice to have adult time.

Ann has a meeting in Austin on Friday, but today we are playing. We have planned our day around eating at some yummy restaurants. I can't wait! I haven't eaten anything good in the past 2 days. I have a sinus infection and nothing taste good. Hopefully today my taste buds will be back.

In case you were wondering, the pictures from Soul to Sole are on my website. If you need the password just let me know. You can order your prints on the website and I will get them sent to you.

Happy Thursday!

Soul to Sole

The Loft Coffee House organizes a 5K run every year called Soul to Sole. The race takes place at The Guadalupe State Park and all the proceeds go The Children's Orphanage H.O.P.E in Uganda.

I was so happy to be a sponsor for the race and help out the children at the H.O.P.E. Orphanage. I also took pictures of the race. The weather was great and there were tons of supporters. It was a wonderful Saturday morning even if it did start at 6am.

Here are my favorite pictures from the race. All the pictures will be on my website tomorrow under proofing. Let me know if you need the password.

Also, check out the Soul to Sole website for more information about the H.O.P.E.
