Seattle

I am so far behind in blogging. It has been a crazy few weeks. A couple of weeks ago we were in Seattle. James had work there so I tagged along. We flew out there on a Monday and James worked Tuesday and Wednesday. James was suppose to be off on Thursday so we could hang out. It didn't really work out that way. He worked some and we toured the city a little. We flew home on Friday.

While James was working I enjoyed some down time. I had some work to catch up on. I had a couple of sessions to edit and orders to place. I worked a little at a time and enjoyed the city a lot. I had a great time in the city. We stayed downtown where there was great shopping. I love big cities where there are tons of people walking around.

We enjoyed fresh fruit from the market and some amazing restaurants. I have a photographer friend that lives in Seattle. She recommended all the restaurants we ate at and they were all amazing. We basically ate every chance we got. If you ever need food recommendations for Seattle just let me know.

The weather was wonderful while we were in Seattle. It was rainy on Monday when we arrived. The rest of the week was gorgeous. The sun was out everyday and it would get up into the 60's. At night it was cold and wonderful. I got to wear jackets and scarves and I loved it!

We went to Seattle a few years a go for our anniversary so we had done most of the tourist things. We decided in our few hours of spare time to head to the aquarium. It was okay. It was nice to do something together, but the aquarium wasn't the best.

Our next stop was the Space Needle. We didn't go last time we were there so it was on the list this time. It was fun! It was a clear day and you could see forever.

It was hard getting a picture of us at the Space Needle. The shadows were bad, but we found a solution. The reflection was perfect on the glass of the Space Needle so we turned around and took a picture of the glass. It turned out to be a really cool picture.

Seattle is a great town. I highly suggest taking a visit to Seattle if you have never been. Make sure you catch a baseball game while you are there. The stadium is beautiful. We didn't get to see a Mariners game this time. As luck would have it they were out of town all week. I have seen two games there so I wasn't totally heart broken.

For the most part I had a nice relaxing time in Seattle. I don't think the same was true for James. Maybe the next trip will be relaxing for both of us.
