Sunday was Grason's 1st birthday. It is amazing how time flies. It doesn't seem like it has already been a year since he was born. Crazy.
Jaime and I got home late Saturday night from Atlanta. On Sunday morning we headed to Corpus for the big birthday celebration. We had originally planned on staying in Atlanta the entire weekend for lots of baseball. Once the birthday was planned we changed our plans. You know I really love that little guy to miss out on baseball. It was totally worth missing baseball for the birthday party.
The birthday celebration was at Jaime's parents house. We had tons of food that was delicious and the coolest looking birthday cake. Of course there was tons of family there to celebrate the birthday. We played shuffle board and ping pong while Grason took a nap. It was the perfect entertainment to make the nap go by fast.
After Grason got up from his nap it was time for cake. Can you believe we cut into this cake. It looked too pretty to eat, but only for about 2 seconds and then it looked to good not to eat. Grason reached right in for his cake and loved it. He is defiantly part of the family because the boy loves some cake.
We also celebrated Jaime's dad's birthday. His birthday is today so we did a combined birthday. I made banana pudding for Popsci. Banana pudding is his favorite and I totally use that to my advantage.
The birthday party with family was the perfect end to a crazy week. Happy Birthday Grason and Popsci!
